I had the honor of speaking at the Trooper Harry Lee Henderson Bridge Dedication ceremony earlier this week in Warren County. I was proud to patron the legislation that names the bridge over Route 624 after Trooper Henderson. Trooper Henderson was a dedicated public servant who paid the ultimate sacrifice while in the line of duty. Thank you to all the men and women in law enforcement who work each day to keep us safe! It was great to welcome back students at Broadway High School this morning. Wishing all students, teachers, and administrators in the Shenandoah Valley a wonderful school year! Posted Tue, Aug 23.
Few events are more rewarding or inspiring to attend than a naturalization ceremony. Today I proudly participated in a ceremony where a Federal Judge administered the oath and 46 new Americans stood and recited the Pledge of Allegiance for the first time as citizens of this great nation. These new citizens, their family and friends packed the courtroom for this important milestone in their lives. If you doubt the excitement of these new citizens, take a look at the smiles on the faces of the Morales family - Americans from Bridgewater! Posted Wed, Aug 17.
